How can Pals On Paws help you?

If you are a medical facility or community organization and would like more information about services Pals on Paws can offer, please do not hesitate to contact one of our directors. As our membership grows, we have the ability to assist more facilities by scheduling pet therapy teams to visit patients. Visits can be monthly, bi-monthly or even weekly, based upon your needs. We can even come entertain your patients for special events. In the past we have held doggie weddings, performed nursery rhymes with our dogs and even square danced with our four-legged partners.

Pals on Paws is also available to give presentations regarding therapy dog work to your organization. We have given demonstrations to small and large groups, such as the Girl Scouts. The scouts were able to earn patches by learning about the work we do.

If you are a pet owner who is interested in learning more about therapy work, please contact one of our directors for more information. Even though Pals on Paws is based in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, we serve other areas as well. If you live in a section of Minnesota we do not cover, we will be happy to find a contact person in your area for you.

Benefits of membership in Pals on Paws include:
  • Members sharing their experience and knowledge
  • Testing information
  • Contacts for facilities to visit
  • Fun events
Non-members and representatives of organizations are always welcome to attend our monthly meetings at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Our meetings are always the fourth (not necessarily the last) Sunday of each month.
